Tapestry has launched Tapestry Pay, a new in-app payments feature built in partnership with Unipaas, the embedded payments provider for SaaS platforms. The feature went live on 2nd June, bringing invoicing and payment collection into a single connected workflow for nurseries, schools and childminders.
Tapestry Pay lets parents pay directly from their invoices with no extra logins or third-party systems required, and supports card and digital wallet payments via Apple and Google Pay, bank transfers and Tax-Free Childcare. For admin teams, payments are matched to invoices automatically, cutting out manual reconciliation and giving a clearer, real-time view of what’s been paid and what’s outstanding.
The feature is powered by Unipaas’ fully managed, white-label payments infrastructure, and is PCI DSS Level 1 certified and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, meaning payments are handled securely behind the scenes, without providers needing to manage a separate payment system themselves.
“Our focus is on giving early years providers tools that are easy to use and support their day-to-day operations. Working with Unipaas allows us to introduce payments in a way that fits naturally into the Tapestry experience, helping customers manage billing and payments through a single, connected workflow.”
David Avgi, Founder and CEO of Unipaas, added that the partnership reflects Tapestry’s central role for thousands of childcare providers, and Unipaas’ aim is to make payments simple and scalable for both settings and families.
Tapestry Pay is included as standard for all Tapestry subscribers, with no extra cost beyond standard transaction fees on card and bank payments.
