Tapestry has launched its seventh annual sector survey, and this year it’s asking some timely questions, including how prepared early years settings feel for Ofsted’s increased focus on inclusion.
The survey invites practitioners at all levels to share their views, not just senior leaders. It covers three main areas: Ofsted’s inclusion expectations, the use of AI for admin and paperwork, and experiences of supervision.
Dr Helen Edwards, co-founder of Tapestry, said the new aspects of Ofsted’s framework around inclusion are broadly welcomed, but that time-pressed educators need space to review and prepare.
On the AI front, the survey explores whether practitioners are using it to reduce their admin burden, and whether it’s actually making a difference. Paperwork remains a significant pressure across the sector, and Tapestry is keen to understand how that’s changing.
The survey is open until Friday 29th May.
