How do they work?

Booking

Use this to organise the days and times children attend your setting, check how close you are to capacity at any point, and plan for staffing. The bookings you add to Tapestry will also be used to generate your registers and invoices. As part of the configuration, you can set your opening hours and any closures, as well as create sessions and custom rooms for children to be booked into, each of which can have its own staff ratio and maximum child capacity figures.

Registers

These can be used online or you can export a printable PDF version to fill in by hand. In either case, the information you have already added to Tapestry within the Booking areas will be used to generate the registers, meaning you can easily find your expected children and sign them in, out, or as absent. Both the Online and Paper Registers can be downloaded to PDF and either printed off or stored digitally for your records.

The Online Register is available on our Android app, and will be released on iOS in the near future.

Invoices

Use this feature to price sessions, allocate funded hours, create extra charges, generate invoices, record payments, and keep track of account balances.

Invoices are clear, transparent, and accurate to the penny! They’ll include a simplified overview which can be expanded to see exactly which sessions and Extra Charges are included in the final price, along with any adjustments, e.g. for extra bookings made during a period already billed for. If you have additional things to charge for or discounts to apply, those can be added as your own additional line items.

Each package includes all our features, even new ones that we release during your time with us. Our prices include unlimited staff and relative accounts, as well as unlimited data; so you can add as much media as you like!
