Tapestry has unveiled a refreshed design for its childhood education platform, introducing a new look and improved navigation to make it even easier for educators to use.
The update, now available to more than 14,000 schools and settings worldwide, focuses on simplifying how users move around the platform. With a consistent experience across devices and a clearer layout, the changes are designed to save time during busy days in nurseries and schools.
“What you do in Tapestry is staying the same — your data, tools, and how you log in aren’t changing. This update is all about making things easier to find and quicker to use.”
Lauren Foley, Product Development Manager
She added that the redesign also supports the platform’s long-term development:
“When we introduce new features, they can slot in logically. It means the platform can grow in a way that feels intuitive, without becoming more complex or harder to navigate.”
The refreshed design has been shaped in collaboration with educators, ensuring that it reflects how settings and schools use Tapestry day to day.
“We hope the refreshed design helps educators and families save time and stay connected more easily. We’ve worked closely with schools and settings to develop the new look, and now it’s live, we’d really love to hear what people think.”
Dr Helen Edwards, Co-founder of Tapestry
The redesign was developed in partnership with Spinning Fox, a design agency specialising in solving complex business challenges through effective design.
“We’ve really enjoyed working with Tapestry to make the platform as easy as possible to use. The new design has already gained recognition at the London Design Awards, and we’re excited to hear what educators think now it’s launched.”
James Marshall, Co-founder of Spinning Fox
Tapestry supports educators in celebrating children’s learning, engaging families, and managing the day-to-day running of their settings. The updated design creates a strong foundation for future development, ensuring the platform can continue to evolve alongside the needs of educators.
