Let Play Lead The Day!

Resources to share with parents and carers to support play at home.

Play Animation

We are excited to bring you this inspiring short animation designed to support families with play.

Tapestry teamed up with award-winning PlayworkerAmber – aka Amber Ogunsanya-William – to collaborate on this project championing children’s freedom to play. The animation shares Amber’s story, and highlights provocations for play at home.

Playworker Amber logo

Play is where we build our brightest selves. My own childhood was spent leaping between bold colours and sky-high towers in a vibrant, wild adventure playground. That joy still lives in everything I do. (Amber)

Amber’s Dad has run an adventure playground for many decades, championing imagination, joy, and community – a life led by play.

It was her experiences in the adventure playground that inspired Amber to be an advocate for play.

Many brilliant organisations who are advocates for play supported the project. Thank you everyone for all the work you do to enable children to play!
