What's New?

See the videos below for the latest features and updates to Tapestry

Tapestry is always evolving. From making small improvements to creating brand new features, we are constantly working to provide you with a system that meets the needs of you and your children.

The compilation videos in this section summarise the latest changes, so you can check what’s new in just a few minutes. You might discover a feature that you didn’t know existed!

Autumn 2020

In the final months of 2020, the Child Login feature was released, along with a new system for early adopters using the new Development Matters statements. Some of the smaller improvements to Tapestry included a ‘Your Data’ page for all Tapestry users, the ability to delete media in bulk from your posts, an iOS update, and a change to memo notifications which means you can see the content of the memo without having to log in.

Summer 2020

Over the summer we added the ‘Enrolling’ status as an option for new children on your account and ELGs for early adopters of the new EYFS framework, as well as a handful of smaller features to improve your experience on Tapestry – the ability to reorder media in your posts, a way to quickly add profile pictures to lots of children, ‘Accidents’ as a standalone feature, and the Move branch map for Move subscribers.

April 2020

To help with learning from home, we created a way for you to create, store, and assign activities, schedule posts to go out when it's most convenient for you, and attach audio clips to posts.

March 2020

In March we introduced a new way to help you send messages to relatives: we called it ‘Memos’. We also added three new ways to help you make the most of your Tapestry posts.
